1月9日の第７２回定期演奏会の指揮者、韓国出身のイ・ヨンチル氏より、今回の演奏会についての感想をいただきましたので、掲載いたします。

 To. Tokyo New City Orchestra

 
The performance in Japan on 09.01.2011 with TNCO was a different experience for me. 

This was my second performance in Japan.

 I was impressed by the Tokyo New City Orchestra in many ways.
I didn't know the TNCO orchestra very well before, but during the rehearsals and the concert,

 I was impressed by the orchestra member's passion and for me it was great fun to work with them.
All of the orchestra members and the staff were united.

 I tried to show my musical ideas, they listened to me very carefully and they followed my way. They were enjoying the music and this helped me feeling very comfortably while conducting.

 I felt that the orchestra members love the music they were playing and that they had a　real passion for it.

We were performing as one mind and the public was satisfied.

 I can tell you once again that it was quite a good performance and I would like to say thank you to all members of the TNCO orchestra and to the staff too.

I would like to perform with TNCO orchestra again with a different musical repertoire.

東京ニューシティ管弦楽団の皆さま

 ２０１１年１月９日の演奏会は、私にとっては日本での二回目の公演でしたが、一回目とはまた違った経験となりました。

それまで東京ニューシティ管弦楽団については、さほど詳しくは知らなかったのですが、今回のリハーサル、演奏会を通して、色んな意味で感銘を受けました。

東京ニューシティ管弦楽団の楽団員たちは情熱的で、彼らと一緒に音楽を作り上げていくことは大変に楽しいものでした。

全楽団員と事務局スタッフも、よくまとまっていました。

私が伝えようとする楽曲に対する考えも、楽団員たちは熱心に耳を傾け、そして、ついてきてくれました。

楽団員たちが楽しんで演奏しているので、私も、とても気持ちよく指揮をすることができました。彼らが、演奏する音楽を愛しているということ、音楽に対する本物の情熱を持っている、ということを、私は感じました。

私たちは気持ちひとつで演奏することができ、観客の皆さまにもご満足いただけたと思います。

重ねて申し上げますが、演奏は大変に素晴らしいものでした。私は、全ての楽団員とスタッフの皆さまにお礼を申し上げたいと思います。

東京ニューシティ管弦楽団とは、また別の曲目で演奏したいと思っています。

本当にありがとうございました。

また次回、お目にかかる日を楽しみにしております。
